  • If the collapsible spare wheel is more than 6 years old, you should only use it in an emergency, taking extra care.
  • The collapsible spare wheel is only intended for temporary use over short distances. A normal wheel should be fitted again as soon as possible.
  • The maximum tyre pressure for the collapsible spare wheel is 3.5 bar.
  • The maximum permissible speed is 80 km/h!
  • Avoid heavy acceleration, hard braking and fast cornering.
  • It will take a few hours for the collapsible spare wheel to return to its original folded form after the air has been released. You should wait for it to return to the folded form before placing it back in the spare wheel well and securing it.
  • Never use more than one collapsible spare wheel at a time.
  • For technical reasons, it is not permissible to use snow chains on the collapsible spare wheel. The collapsible spare wheel must be mounted on the front axle if snow chains have to be used and the flat tyre is at the rear. You can then use the wheel taken from the front to replace the punctured rear wheel. It is best to fit the snow chain before mounting the wheel on the car.
Caution!
  • The collapsible spare wheel has been developed especially for this model. It may not be exchanged or be used for other models. This also means that collapsible wheels from other models may not be used.
  • No other type of tyre (normal summer or winter tyres) may be fitted on the rim of the collapsible wheel.
  • Make sure that the collapsible spare wheel/removed wheel and the tools are stored safely in the luggage compartment.
